Professional Turf Care
Begins in the Soil.
4ELEMENTRA is not a product supplier – we are a system partner. Our care system connects soil analysis, site-specific planning, structured application and continuous documentation into a closed loop.
The result: reproducible quality on professional sports and golf turf surfaces – regardless of location, climate or intensity of use.
The quality of a playing surface is created by the interaction of soil, plant and care.
A system is more than the sum of its parts. The quality of a professional playing surface does not arise from individual products – it arises from the controlled interplay of soil analysis, plant nutrition and structured care. Our approach is based on three core principles:
Understand the Soil
Active soil life and stable soil structure form the basis for resilient playing surfaces.
Support the Plant
A balanced nutrient supply supports growth, regeneration and stress resistance.
Structure the Care
A stable maintenance plan can be implemented through coordinated applications.
"After a long period of application, it is clear that an organically oriented maintenance concept can also be practicable under professional conditions." Head of Turf Care (Anonymized)
Practical example from the professional sports turf sector.
System-based turf care under high load – a field example
For over two years, a professional stadium site has been maintained with a fully organic-oriented care system. The site is UEFA-certified and is regularly used with several matches per week under high load. Despite this intensity, it shows a stable turf, rapid regeneration and sustainable soil structure development – without chemical interventions.
"Despite regular intensive use with multiple games within short periods, there is a stable turf, rapid regeneration, and sustainable development of the soil structure."
The experiences presented are based on practical applications in professional sports turf environments. Results may vary depending on location, climate, soil structure, use, and maintenance plan.

I.C.E. Technology: Plant Physiological Approach
The term I.C.E. describes a plant physiological approach to the efficient delivery of nutrients. The goal is to provide nutrients in a form that can be directly absorbed and utilized by the plant. This improves nutrient uptake, accelerates effectiveness and reduces losses through leaching. The application is designed to specifically support the plant and increase the efficiency of every measure.
Nutrient Availability
Optimized provision of nutrients for direct uptake.
Metabolic Processes
Support of natural plant metabolic processes.
Practice-Oriented
Developed for application in the professional sports turf sector.
Nutrient Storage through Natural Zeolite
Zeolite has a microporous crystal structure with a natural negative charge. This enables it to absorb and store nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium as well as humic and fulvic acids. This storage function reduces leaching and ensures a uniform, demand-driven release of nutrients to the plant root. This improves availability and significantly increases fertilization efficiency.
Understanding the Site
Soil analyses form the foundation for informed decisions in professional sports turf management. Parameters such as pH value, cation exchange capacity and nutrient ratios significantly determine the functionality of the soil and the efficiency of care.
The evaluation of real practice areas shows that stable playing surfaces are not created by maximum nutrient levels, but by a balanced interplay of structure, availability and application. We orient ourselves on practice-proven evaluation models such as MLSN, which were specifically developed for sports turf.
System components – Every element has its place
4ELEMENTRA does not sell individual products. Every component of our system fulfils a specific function within a structured care cycle – tailored to location, soil structure, use and season. No component works in isolation. They all work together.

Who the Care Concept is suitable for
Your Questions, Our Answers
Everything you need to know about organic turf care.
An organically oriented care concept supports natural soil development in the long term. In contrast to purely chemical approaches, soil life is actively supported and the structure of the soil is improved. The goal is a stable sward, better water availability and sustainable development of the playing surface.
The effect can vary depending on location, soil structure, climate and use. In many cases, initial changes in grass vitality and color intensity are visible within a few weeks. Long-term improvements in soil structure develop over several vegetation periods.
The care concept was specially developed for areas that are exposed to intensive use. These include, for example: sports facilities, training pitches, golf courses. A stable turf and healthy root development are central goals of the concept.
Yes, the care concept can basically also be applied to golf courses. The application is individually adapted to soil conditions, climate and maintenance plan.
The application usually takes place within a structured maintenance plan. This can include, among other things: foliar applications, soil applications, combination with existing maintenance measures. The specific implementation always depends on the respective facility.
